All-Purpose Reclining Salon Chairs

An all purpose chair exists because most rooms do not run one service. It reclines far enough for facial, brow and lash work, adjusts for a cut, and holds a client still for a tattoo session, which is why the same five chairs get bought by salons, esthetics studios, brow bars and tattoo shops.

This collection holds five chairs, from $340 to $492 as listed on 20 September 2026. Four are Berkeley and one is Dermalogic. All five recline and all five publish a weight rating, which is not true of every chair category on this site.

The numbers that separate them: the AUSTEN publishes 400 lb and reclines to 135 degrees with a removable headrest that adjusts up to 8 inches. The KENDALE also reclines to 135 degrees, at 350 lb, and is the least expensive reclining chair we sell. The HUDSON and HERMAN recline to 130 degrees at 350 lb. The BETHANY is the outlier: it adjusts from a chair position to fully flat, has removable headrest and armrests and a face cutout under the pillow for prone treatments, and holds 300 lb. We deliver nationwide, with freight calculated at checkout.
